Jack and Katelyn’s wedding reception
Jack and Katelyn are such a fun loving couple. There was no doubt in my mind that there wedding would be anything short of FUN. There entire day was staged at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront in Suffolk Virginia. Katelyn’s makeup was absolutely gorgeous. It was done by the talented team of Wadsworth Style (Lauren Silverio). Her hair style was created by Virginia Donovan Smith. Her dress was from Maya on Main. I can’t forget about Jack his tux also came from Maya on Main. While the guys and girls were getting ready you could feel all the excitement. Everything built up to the adorable first look that happened on the amazing back stairs of the Hilton. The ceremony was PACKED from floor to ceiling with Jack and Katelyn’s family and friends. I don’t think I saw one empty seat. It was spectacular. Reverend Mike Harrington and Clay Martz (Katelyn’s Uncle) held the ceremony. We took some fun family portraits after the ceremony which included a lot of joking around and a few large groups. The reception entertainment was provided by Music Makes You Happy. Matt did an great job keeping the music pumping and people’s feet moving. Most people know that I have a sweet tooth for good wedding cake but Jack and Katelyn didn’t have any cake… they had DONUTS! Yes, I said that correctly- donuts. I may have eaten more than one… just saying. The donuts were made by Amazing Glazed Donuts. It’s always a pleasure to work with talented venders who have as much fun as we do. I can’t say enough good things about the team of Intellect Media. They are fantastic cinematographers. They were on location doing their thing. I can’t wait to see their final video.
