When you think of a happy couple you should think of Robbie and Jessie. They work together. They play together and now they will spend the rest of their lives together (enter evil laugh here). When I first met with Jessie and Robbie they told me they worked for Pepperidge Farm and I knew at that point we would become fast friends. Because we all know the fastest way to my hearts with sweets!
The wedding was at one of my all time favorite places, the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. It’s such a gorgeous back drop to any wedding or event or to just go hang out and go for a walk and look at pretty stuff. Maybe the best part was that they had an Asian Lantern exhibit going on at he same time. So of course we took some photographs with the lanterns after dark. The exhibit is only up until April 30 so be sure to check it out soon! Astro Entertainment now offers “Day Of” wedding planning services and the lovely Pari Smith and Chelsea Browne were there making everything amazing. They also had DJ Danny Gray who always gets the party rocking. Marcus Williams of Intellect Media was also doing his thing with videography. He is one of the area’s top videographers. All the floral decor was provided by Vivid Expressions. Janel Keen is the owner and operator of Vivid Expressions and the name says it all because their floral arrangements are VIVID and amazing and beautiful and any other fantastic adjective you can come up with. As I mentioned earlier I like to eat sweets. Well I think that also extends to simply liking to eat anything that is delicious. So of course I was fully on board with Beach Bully being the caterer. If you’ve lived in Virginia Beach and you like BBQ then chances are you’ve eaten at Beach Bully. They are pretty fantastic! Circling back to sweets and keeping with the food talk Twisted Sister provided the cupcakes. I know from experience that they are delicious! Jessie’s Dress was purchased at David’s Bridal in Norfolk and Robbie’s tuxedo was rented from Men’s Warehouse in Newport News.
